Missionary opportunity in Abaco

“Pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

Missionaries Needed

CMA has been training pastors and leaders in Abaco, Bahamas, equipping them in the Word of God. Bill Luttrell and his family became CMA missionaries and moved to Abaco in 2015 to head up the training ministry there. In September 2019, Hurricane Dorian devastated the island, displacing many people including the Luttrell family. They moved back to the States and began taking hurricane relief teams in and out to help the people of Abaco rebuild their lives. Bill also was able to help a group of leaders finish their course of studies so they could graduate. In December 2020, CMA was able to host the graduation for this group of leaders. It was also around that time that the Luttrells determined that God had closed the door for their family to move back to Abaco. CMA is grateful for the years of missionary service they invested in Abaco. We believe that God is not finished with CMA in Abaco due to the hunger and desire for training that is evident among the pastors and church leaders on the island. We are praying that God will raise up a missionary family to move to Abaco and lead the training ministry on the island.
